He is perhaps best known for his work as an independent filmmaker. ==Biography== Masucci was born in the city of Novara in northern Italy where he began his career as a theater actor while in school. In his late teens he relocated to Hollywood appearing on the television series ''CSI: NY'' (2004) and ''The Bold and the Beautiful'' (2005). His transition behind the camera began first as a screenwriter with the short film ''A Short One'' (2006) and later as a director with the mockumentary short ''Rotting Dancers'' (2007). To date Masucci has written and produced half a dozen short films including the award winning ''happiending'' which he also directed and edited.
